We are happy to announce our summer camp schedule at Children’s House of Exton! We are offering six fun-filled camps this summer!
Balance Yoga (Ages 3-7)
June 12-16, 2017 (Mon-Fri)
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Instructor: Mrs. Susie Warner Assistants: CHE Staff
Join us for a fun, creative, and enriching experience as we spend our week exploring various yoga movements, games, relaxation and yoga themed crafts. We will also spend plenty of time outside exploring yoga and movement in nature. In this non-competitive atmosphere children will learn to work together, as well as independently listen to their bodies. We will also be exploring the important topic of mindfulness during yoga and in life. Campers will create memories and a foundation for health and well-being, all while having fun!
Adventures in Advanced Art (Ages 6-9)
June 26-30, 2017 (Mon-Fri)

This camp geared to older children, will provide the campers with an opportunity to complete more complex artistic techniques while learning about various artists and their ways of painting. They will observe how these artists used line, shape, color, texture and form to create works of art. Each day we will focus on one of these elements and how it can be used in our drawings and paintings. The children will have the opportunity to use different techniques and materials to discover their own unique style of art. Each child will be encouraged to explore their creativity and discover exciting ways to express themselves through art.
Art Camp: Express Yourself (Ages 3-6)

The children will learn to paint and create art in a new way! They will be introduced to the magical world of Expressionism through the works of five artists. Each day the children will be introduced to a new artist, and see how they expressed themselves through their artwork. The children will use a variety of materials and techniques to discover new ways to paint. Each child will be encouraged to explore their creativity and discover exciting ways to express themselves through art.
Give My Regards to Broadway (Ages 4-7)
July 17-21, 2017 (Mon-Fri)

Children will participate in the spectacular world of song, dance, drama and art! They will learn songs and dances, create props and explore imaginative acting, and star in their own performance at the end of the week in front of a very special audience of family and friends! The theme of the week is Best of Broadway. The children will be performing toe tapping familiar tunes-you may be moved to sing along!! Each child will be encouraged to explore their imagination, and gain poise and confidence in the performing arts!
Healthy Heart Fitness (Ages 3-7)
July 24-28, 2017 (Mon-Fri)

Join us for an exciting week of fitness fun! Each day campers will be participating in cooperative relays, games, gymnastics, and nutrition to keep their hearts healthy! Your camper will have tons of fun as they build strength, work on balance, coordination and flexibility. This camp will incorporate daily sports activities, various exercises, and make foods that are delicious and nutritious! The week will be filled with fitness, healthy food, and of course summer fun!

Welcome to Children’s House of Exton! This camp is designed for newly enrolled students
entering into our unique and exciting learning environment. Transitioning into school, or a new learning space should be a positive experience for every child. During the week, campers will be introduced to the Montessori environment, and complete fun-filled activities with some of their future peers! Instructed by Mrs. Blair Yohannan, head teacher at CHE, our hope is that your children will build relationships, and grow comfortable in our school before the year even begins! We look forward to welcoming you and your children to our Children’s House community!
We will fill the camps on a first come basis. Feel free to let your friends know about our camps! Please be mindful of the age listed for each camp. If your child is close to the suggested age range, and you have any questions about this, please contact me and we can discuss their enrollment. After you have registered, you will receive an email confirming your child’s registration which will include all the additional information you will need, plus an emergency document required to attend. Please let me know if you have any questions. We will have some copies of the camp information at school. Just ask, and we will get you a copy. We are looking forward to a fun filled summer!
